Hugh Hefner - Hefners Schocking Sexcapades Revealed In New Tell-all Book
HUGH HEFNER's history of shocking sexual escapades have been revealed in an upcoming book approved by the Playboy tycoon.
In the book, entitled Mr. Playboy: Hugh Hefner and the American Dream, author Steven Watts reveals how Hefner's penchant for multiple sex partners led him to enlist his first wife, Millie, and Playboy co-founder Eldon Sellers for a series of steamy sexual encounters.
Watts also reveals the ageing porn mogul shot and starred in his own adult movie, engaged in same-sex bedroom romps and had sex with his own sister-in-law.
In one excerpt, he writes: "(A foursome) did happen with his brother, Keith, and his wife, Rae, one evening. (But) while Millie ultimately backed out of having sex with Keith, Hugh slept with his sister-in-law."
Watts continues: "Hefner's thirst for sexual experience became so strong that he even had a one-time homosexual experience. One evening in downtown Chicago he was propositioned and, according to Sellers, he thought, 'What the hell...' As far as I know, the guy just gave him (oral sex).'"
According to the New York Post, Hefner gave Watts access to personal documents before he penned the biography, hailing its authenticity.
He says, "This is the most authoritative book ever written about me... It's all essentially true."
The book is scheduled for release in October (08).

With virtually as many lineup changes as one of their influences, Yes, Arena was nonpareil of the dominant neo-prog groups of the nineties. A supergroup of sorts, Arena has featured sometime members of Marillion, Pendragon, IQ, and Shadowland.
Field was formed in 1994 by Mick Pointer, the former drummer of Marillion, and Clive Nolan, the former keyboardist of Pendragon. The group was rounded out by the accession of Cliff Orsi (freshwater bass), John Carson (vocals), and Keith Moore (guitars). Their kickoff album, Songs From the Lions Cage (1995), was a unassailable neo-prog debut with aggressive playing that brought comparisons to Fish-era Marillion and contained lengthy tracks with long guitar and moog solos. Carson was even compared by many to Fish. However, a planned tour was scratched after Carson left the group. He was promptly replaced by Paul Wrightson. More card changes followed as Orsi left the band and was replaced by the early bassist of IQ, John Jowitt. Both Jowitt and Wrightson appeared on the group's next album, Pride (1996), which built upon the well-grounded the ring had begun on their number one record album and saw them develop away from some of the Marillion influences. The mini-compilation Edits followed later that year and was comprised of the group's singles and a new eight-minute track. Moore then left the group and was replaced by John Mitchell, world Health Organization instantly proved himself an able refilling on the 1997 mini-album, The Cry. Arena then embarked on a successful yearlong tour that was captured on the live album Receive to the Stage (1997). A conception album, The Visitor (1998), ground the band shortening their songs and told the history of a person world Health Organization recalls his life patch suspended between life story and death. Wrightson and Jowitt then left the group and were replaced by Rob Sowden and former Shadowland bassist Ian Salmon, respectively. God? was released in 2000 and was a move in a darker direction for Arena. The live album Breakfast in Biarritz followed in 2001.
Veteran publicist Howard Brandy dies
Known for work with Rocky & Bullwinkle's Jay Ward
Howard Brandy, an internationally recognized PR specialist who repped hundreds of films and dozens of musical acts in his four-decade career, died Monday in Los Angeles after a long illness. He was 78.
Brandy is perhaps best known for his work with Jay Ward, the creator of Rocky & Bullwinkle. The square-jawed, barrel-chested publicist served as the inspiration for Dudley Do-Right, Ward's Canadian Mountie character who did battle with Snidely Whiplash in a parody of silent film melodramas.
Brandy's wife is Rose Einstein, vp and associate publisher, sales and marketing for The Hollywood Reporter.
The Brooklyn-born Brandy got his start in the music industry, working with such teen idols as Fabian and Frankie Avalon in the 1960s. Other music acts he handled included Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, the Fifth Dimension, the Temptations, the Monkees, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Lionel Richie and the Captain & Tennille. He also headed publicity for A&M Records and Motown Records, among other labels.
Among the films Brandy worked on were Bernardo Bertolucci's "The Last Emperor" (1987), which won nine Academy Awards, including best picture, and "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" (2002), which collected two Oscars.
Other films included "Silent Running" (1972), "Young Frankenstein" (1974), "The Omen" (1976), "Idolmaker" (1980), "Quest for Fire" (1981), "My Favorite Year" (1982), "Gorky Park" (1983), "The Pope of Greenwich Village" (1984), "Runaway Train" (1985), "Russia House" (1990), "The Last Seduction" (1994), "About Schmidt" (2002) and the "Police Academy" films. He also did PR on the 1981 miniseries "East of Eden."
Brandy also did press for three top studio executives: Ned Tanen, Mike Medavoy and Alan Ladd.
In the book "The Moose That Roared: The Story of Jay Ward, Bill Scott, A Flying Squirrel and a Talking Moose," Brandy said he looked up Ward after stumbling upon a late-night episode of "Rocky and His Friends." He became Jay Ward Prods.' West Coast press agent in 1961.
To promote a new season of "The Bullwinkle Show," Brandy engineered a 1962 cross-country stunt to get folks to sign a petition to make Moosylvania the 51st state (Ward had bought an island off the U.S.-Canadian coast for the promotion). Brandy and Ward traveled the country in a van plastered with "Statehood for Moosylvania" propaganda, with Brandy dressing as Dudley and Ward wearing a wacky admiral outfit, and they made it to the front steps of the White House.
Brandy is survived by his and Einstein's daughter, Rebecca.
A memorial service will be held at at 11 a.m. Friday at Hillside Memorial, 6001 W. Centinela Ave. in Los Angeles.

In 1984, Thanatos became Holland's number one death/thrash metal band. Although they did not release an album until 1990, they exhausted the days mediate playing shows with the likes of Napalm Death, Kreator, Sepultura, Bolt Thrower, Autopsy, Death Angel, and Messiah. In 1989, they gestural a deal with Sh**k Records and released Emergent From the Netherworlds. That album was followed by 1992's Realm of Ecstasy. Both albums were hailed by critics and fans, but due to frustration with the label the band called it quits in 1992. Seven years later, at the height of the death and thrash alloy revivification, the Dutch judge Hammerheart re-released the albums and signed the band for another record. Founding member Stephan Gebedi (guitar/vocals) recruited novel members Paul Baayens (guitar), Aad Kloosterwaard (drums), and Theo van Eekelen (bass), and reformed Thanatos in 2000, releasing Angelical Encounters.
